The Maxima is available in two trim levels: 3.5 S ($29,950) and 3.5 SV ($32,650). Under the hood is a 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, improved by 35 hp over the previous Maxima model. A continuously variable automatic (CVT) is standard.
