Classic Mercedes-Benz Supercars - Stuttgart Present

No.10 - Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

This is more than simply the latest in the line of hopped-up C-classes—it’s a radical departure. The C63 is an aggressive, focused performance machine. We still prefer the BMW M3, but the super C is now legitimately in the same league, and serves up the best performance in its class.
No.9 - 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL-class

Based on the large S-class sedan architecture, the CL coupes come in four distinct flavors. Sumptuously furnished, beautiful to behold, and packed with enough technology to make a Radio Shack employee blush, the CL in AMG guise will give a Bentley a run for its money.
No.8 - Mercedes-Benz CLK-class coupe

A luxurious coupe that offers style, comfort, speed, and a decent rear seat but at a price that exceeds that of rivals. Base versions with V-6-power are plenty quick while the V-8-powered CLK550 is seriously fast. Like most non-AMG Benzes, luxury trumps sportiness.
No.7 - Mercedes-Benz CLS-class

Underneath the swoopy styling of the CLS is a relatively dowdy E-class Benz. The low roof and gun-slit windows aren't to everybody's taste, but nobody will mistake this for anything else. Mercedes calls it a four-door coupe so don't expect there to much rear-seat space.
No.6 - Mercedes-Benz E-class sedan

While this staple from the Stuttgart company comes in many forms, the E-class fundamentals are all there: a spacious four-door sedan offering a refined ride, precise steering, comfortable accommodations, plenty of power, and comprehensive safety technologies.
No.5 - Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG

If you like luxury with a military look and serious off-road capability, the G-class has German army heritage and the right stuff for rough terrain: solid axles, three locking differentials, and ample ground clearance. There's a high-powered AMG edition, but this Teutonic ute is not a toy.
No.4 - Mercedes-Benz GL-class

The unibodied GL arrived last year and promptly won a spot on our 5Best Trucks honor roll, combining passenger car driveability with SUV cargo and passenger room. Solidly built and beautifully finished, the GL arrived with a single engine choice, but gets two more for 2008.
No.3 - Mercedes-Benz M-class

Unibody construction replaced body-on-frame for the second generation M-class SUV in 2006, giving it better road manners as well as more room inside a bigger body shell. The M comes in multiple trim levels with engines that range from mild to wild with the 503-hp ML63 AMG.
No.2 - Mercedes-Benz R-class

It's as big as most minivans, but Mercedes-Benz just doesn't do anything as mundane as minivans. Sexier than most SUVs, this stylish wagon performs well, and has all the luxo stuff one expects in a Mercedes. It adds up to a sexy blend of panache and utility, but the pricing is stiff.
No.1 - Mercedes-Benz S-class
This is Benz's premier sedan line, and still one of the most coveted four-doors going. Renewed for '06 with 21st-century convenience and safety features, the big Mercedes sedans change little for 2008, save for the addition of the S63 AMG. All models are big, posh, and capable.

Looks better in photos vs in person, which should help motivate people to check it out in show rooms.
