So I am going to be buying a new car this summer, but I'm starting the research now. The problem is I am not sure of a reliable information source to compare the cars I may be interested in. I know I will be getting a 2007 or 2008. I want it to have good fuel efficency ratings and a Sedan Body style. Must be front wheel or all wheel drive.

Now that being said... what other features should I be looking for? What should I ask the dealer?

Does anyone have any suggestions on cars to check into or what to avoid?

I have been checking out the Volswagon Jetta... does anyone have any thoughts on the Jetta's? How much is too much for an '07 or '08 Jetta? Are there any common problems with them?

If you know of a reliable information source where I can check out the cars please let me know!!

Thanks for any help and suggestions!!

Consumer reports usually has car comparisons. I've read them before - they hate Chrysler's new Sebring. I would say start there.
