New hybrid plug-in tax credit out of bailout bill !
ubuntu on Sat Oct 04, 2008 08:30 am (autoloandaily.com)This is huge, a $7,500 tax credit was placed inside the new $700B bailout bill. It looks like buying a Hybrid Plug In style car may be more affordable than a Toyota Prius maybe. If electric plug in cars can be made for under $30,000 and you add on the tax credit we might see these cars sell better than today's hybrid choices.
