Uncertain Future for Ford's Rwd Vehicles, But Also On the Way Forward Ecoboost

This is a while since we heard fomoco the development of large rear-wheel-drive vehicles, Ford and Lincoln - not surprising, considering the current climate. Fuel prices continue to rise with the track and over CAFE standards on the horizon, Ford is clearly re-evaluate the effect of providing rwd vehicles in the market the fuel efficiency of the hunger whip.
In addition to this morning's story, Ford is considering providing a ecoboost 4-cylinder on its F-150 pickups, Automotive News reported that Ford's use of turbocharged, direct injection engine, can be extended to more than 500,000 Vehicles annually by 2012.

The dealers I have spoken to here in the Phoenix, AZ area have told me that Nissan has told them they are allowed a maximum of k markup, or they risk losing any further allotment.
